Scottsdale, AZ Member Meeting

March 14, 2016

If you weren’t able to make it to Scottsdale, AZ for our member meeting, you missed seeing fellow members, great speakers and memorable dinners.

To recap the event, we started off thanking everyone who has participated and interacted with our social media accounts. We’ve had wonderful success getting our establishment’s word out and exposure.

Thursday, we announced deliverables from our September Discovery Session led by Richard Gripp in San Diego, and listened to excellent speakers Jim Hughes and Kevin Guy.

Jim Hughes, founder of The Brand Establishment presented “Cultural Uprising” with recommendations on how your agency can create one from within and how you can help your clients do the same. And Kevin Guy, COO and Partner at Knightsbridge Technology Group gave us insight on speaking with CEO’s and earning their trust as marketers.

Thursday night, all the attending member agencies enjoyed a group dinner with our speakers and two guest agencies, Word Marketing out of Columbia, Missouri and The Brandon Agency in Charleston, South Carolina.

Friday started with Hank Blank, public relations and marketing guru, giving examples and detailed stories of pros and cons agencies face during reviews.

Next Dustin Garis, innovator and marketer, spoke of the importance of Life Profit, a social movement dedicated to breaking out of the ordinary and living a memorable life. Dustin inspired us to make the most out of each day with the means to do so.

The day ended with an enjoyable recap over dinner and drinks.

Our next meeting will be August 4-5 in Chicago, Illinois and our next winter meeting we be held in San Diego on February 16-17, 2017. We hope to see everyone there, and we can’t wait to introduce our newest member to The Brand Establishment and to all of our amazing agencies.
